CHAPTER ONE
I sat in my bedroom all alone
holding the letter in my hands as light seeped through the dark blue curtains that matched the rest of my room. as I pierced the top of the letter with my bright purple nail.
I felt nervous and excited about finding my real parents. But they said”I am too human
“HOW CAN YOU BE TOO HUMAN??!!!
My mum came in with a basket full of clothes and a nervous smile “any better “nope.” I said frowning.
She sat down on my bed and said”things will get better trust me now go get some breakfast.” Just then this came from downstairs.
“HEY YOU GUYS BETTER GET DOWN HERE NOW OR I WILL EAT ALL THE PANCAKES!”
I trudged downstairs
I picked up a plate and got a pancake
when I sat down my dad asked me if it was any better I told him no.
The doorbell rang when I answered it there was nobody there so I picked up the letter it was yellow and stained with a red wax seal
I turned it over and it was from the Gods!
The letter said that “on the 31st of December midnight my mother and father were coming to take me to my true home!”
I felt terrified and I had no idea who it would be.
Slowly as the days passed I got more and more nervous about leaving my home and meeting my birth parents and then the day arrived the doorbell rang I opened the door there was a woman who had her hair in a tight bun she also had very pale skin and she wore black sunglasses that covered her eyes completely there was a man who’s hair looked like mine I could not see so well but his hair sort of glowed a bright yellow the woman sort of hissed “time to go Diana.” A bit scared “go where” they both looked at me and said “you’ll see.”
I blinked and suddenly we were in an extremely fancy building my brain suddenly started getting thousands of questions I felt that the most important questions were
“who are you
